About 20 efferent ductules connect the rete testis with the proximal portion of the epididymis. Each of highly-coiled efferent ductules open into the single channel of the epididymis.
Cross-sections of efferent ductules (#1 and #2) are found among those of the single, coiled duct that forms the epididymis.
